Bot Guidelines

All bots listed on FindMeABot must meet these guidelines. Our review team checks every submission before it goes live. Violating these guidelines may result in your bot being delisted and your account being restricted.
Review Process
Submit
Fill out the bot submission form with your bot ID, description, invite link, and categories.
Review
Our review team checks the bot against these guidelines. This typically takes 24–72 hours.
Verdict
You receive a notification in the FindMeABot Discord server with the approval or rejection reason.
Listed
Approved bots go live immediately and appear in the bot directory and search results.
Requirements
- •Your bot must be online and functional at the time of submission.
- •Your bot must be in at least 2 servers (beyond the test server).
- •The bot must have a clear, accurate description (minimum 50 characters).
- •The invite link must use the standard Discord bot invite URL format.
- •You must be in the FindMeABot Discord server before you can list a bot.
- •Your bot must comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
- •The bot must respond to at least one command or interaction.
- •Bot must not be a simple clone of another listed bot without significant added value.
Prohibited Bots
- •Bots designed to spam, DM-advertise, or mass-ping users.
- •Bots that scrape, collect, or sell Discord user data.
- •NSFW bots without proper Discord age verification gates.
- •Bots that claim to give free Nitro, Discord currency, or other rewards.
- •Bots impersonating other bots, Discord staff, or public figures.
- •Bots with malware, phishing links, or any malicious functionality.
- •Bots designed to raid, nuke, or otherwise harm servers.
- •Bots that violate any applicable law or regulation.
Ongoing Compliance
Approval is not permanent. Bots must remain online and compliant after listing. We periodically audit listed bots. A bot that becomes non-functional or violates guidelines may be delisted without prior notice.
Vote Integrity
Vote manipulation of any kind — including using alternate accounts, automated scripts, or paid vote services — results in immediate listing removal and account restriction.
