What each badge on FindMeABot means.
Badges appear next to usernames and bot names across the site — on bot cards, developer profiles, and the admin dashboard. They're either earned through platform roles, granted through manual verification, or purchased as a promotion. None of them can be edited by the account holder.
Account Badges
Admin
Has full administrative control over FindMeABot — managing users, bot reviews, promotions, and platform settings.
Reviewer
Trusted to claim and review pending bot submissions before they're approved and go live on the directory.
Developer
Has at least one bot approved and listed on FindMeABot.
Bug Hunter
Recognized for responsibly reporting a valid bug that helped improve FindMeABot.
Verification
Verified Verified
Manually granted by the FindMeABot team after confirming a bot or developer's authenticity and quality. It cannot be bought, and it isn't automatic — it's a direct sign-off from the team.
Bot Listing Badges
Sponsored
The bot owner purchased a promotion slot to boost visibility in listings. Sponsorship only affects placement — sponsored bots go through the exact same review and approval process as every other submission.
